Our editorial standards
Every guide starts from the questions a careful buyer would ask: what does it really cost, what does the free version actually allow, who is it built for, and what goes wrong for the people already using it.
What we check
- Official pricing and plan pages, including what changes after a trial or a first-year promotion.
- Feature pages and help documentation, to confirm what each plan includes.
- App store listings and privacy policies, especially for anything that handles money, health or personal data.
- Public user reviews and complaints, to find the catch the marketing leaves out.
What we don't do
We don't claim long hands-on testing we haven't done, and we never invent ratings, user counts or prices. If a price can't be verified, the guide says "See website".
Keeping guides current
Prices and plans change often. Every guide shows the date it was last updated, and we revise it when a product changes. Spotted something out of date? Tell us.
